On March 6, Jerald Corya, 50, 5555 Old Kentucky Road, was charged by warrant with one count of attempted murder.
According to Pickett County Sheriff Dana Dowdy, an alleged domestic altercation on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Corya home resulted in the shooting of William Corya, 22, Jerry Allen Corya, 20, Jonathan Beaty, 36, of Moodyville Road along with Jerald Corya.
Both Jerald Corya and Jonathan Beaty were airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. William Corya was transported by Pickett County EMS to Livingston Regional Hospital with minor injuries. Jerry Corya was treated and released from Livingston Regional Hospital for a minor injury.
The incident is under investigation by the Pickett County Sheriff's Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Office of the District Attorney.
