Pickett County Commissioners hold special called meeting July 5th
The Pickett County Commissioners met in a special called meeting on July 5, 2011.
Present and presiding was the Honorable Johnie Neal, Chairman and Robert Lee, Clerk of the Court. Court was called to order at 6:00 p.m. All commissioners were present. Daniel Masiongale was absent.
The following action was taken at the meeting:
•Passed a motion by Doug Manis and seconded by Eddie Holt to approve the agenda presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
•Becky Matheny rescinded her motion and Joe Harden rescinded his second on item #18c from June 20, 2011 meeting concerning a deletion of a portion of Cedar Street Road.
•Carried a motion by Becky Matheny and seconded by Tony Beaty to approve Resolution #10/11-9, establishing county road right-of-way. All ayes except for Colan Huddleston who voted nay and Joe Harden and Kenny Tompkins who passed. Motion carried.
•Approved a motion by Colan Huddleston and seconded by Becky Matheny to adjourn until the next regular county court meeting on July 18, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the community room of the Pickett County Library without roll call.
