Keaton donates to St. Jude Hospital

Keaton donates to St. Jude Hospital
Submitted
Keaton Sells recently visited the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis where he donated the proceeds from his lemonade stand. In July, Keaton sold lemonade and cupcakes and decided he wanted to donate the money to the children at St. Jude’s. The people at St. Jude’s told him how important his donation was. The receptionist told Keaton about a father who came into the hospital. The father was very upset. The receptionist went to him and asked if she could help him. The father just shook his head no. The lady then said well let me try to help you. The father handed her a list of all of his possessions like his house and car and had the value written out to the side. He said that he could sell everything he owns and still never be able to pay for his son’s cancer treatments. The nurse handed the list back to the father and said that he will never receive a bill and that his son will get the best treatment they offer. This was a great experience for Keaton and really made him feel good to give to others. We are very proud of Keaton and love him so much! Keaton is the son of Jim Bob and Emily Sells and the big brother of Bronwin Sells.
