Water outage due to repairing damage hydrantOn Monday, October 17th, approximately 100 water
customers, out water of the 3,000, from 7 a.m. until
around 3:30 p.m.
The main area of the outage was West Main Street
which included many businesses. According to City
Mayor Chris Thompson, the Pickett County Highway
Department accidently damaged a fire hydrant in front
of Logan's Heating and Cooling from a bush-hog, so the
repair had to be done.
The Town wants to apologize for the outage inconvenience
and appreciates everyone's patience during
the repair.
