School Board Appreciation Week is January 22-28th

School Board Appreciation Week is January 22-28thEach year Tennessee celebrates School Board Appreciation Week to honor school board members who govern our schools and make a difference in the lives of our children and communities.
For 2012, School Board Appreciation week is set for January 22-28. Public education is everyone’s business and it holds the key to the success of every community. As you know, school board members donate their time and efforts to ensure that our students receive a first-class education and an opportunity for future success in life.
School Board Week is a chance for the community to thank these individuals for their commitment to education. Pickett County schools would like to recognize our board members and say "Thank You" for all you do for the students in our county.
