Fitzgerald Glider Kit Open House held

Fitzgerald Glider Kit Open House held Fitzgerald Glider Kits welcomed the community for an open house on Friday, May 25th. Approximately 120 attended and were able to tour the facility.
Fitzgerald expanded their operation and located to the vacated Hutchinson buildings located on Hwy. 111 last year and currently employ 52 people. The business takes a new tractor trailer without an engine, transmission or accessories and creates a custom ordered truck.
According to State Representative Kelly Keisling, Fitzgerald is now finishing 15 trucks per week and soon could be increasing that number, which could mean more jobs.
Fitzgerald, a family owned business, started in 1989 to do service work and build kit trucks and has since then established a reputation in being one of the biggest glider kits in the industry.
