Memorial Golf Tournament raises over $14,500Submitted
The 2nd Annual Memorial Golf Tournament played recently in memory of Jeff Elder and Jacob Carwile was a success with 176 players on 44 teams participating. The Elder family and the Carwile family congratulated winners McKenzie Holman, William Holman, Matt Massengille, and Larry Goolsby.
The tournament raised over $14,500 for pancreatic and carcinoid cancer research, with $7,250 being sent to Lustgarten Foundation in Jeff’s memory and $7,250 being sent to Caring for Carcinoid Foundation in Jacob’s memory.
