Additional drug charges for Burton

Additional drug charges for BurtonOn October 6th, Pickett County Deputy Malcolm Johnson conducted a drug investigation while serving an attachment for child support.

Components of a meth lab were found at the residence of Christopher Burton, 34, Adams Lane, Byrdstown.

Burton is on probation after pleading to six years state probation from similar drug charges last year. He is charged with promotion to manufacture methamphetamine.

Deputy Johnson was assisted by Chief Deputy Steve Wilber, Deputy Kevin Conner, Reserve Deputy Glen Berry and Meth Clan Officer Elbert Conner.
