Drug charges after routine stop

Drug charges after routine stopPickett County Sheriff's Deputy Malcolm Johnson made a traffic stop recently due to broken tail light and expired tag on Beason Road which led to drug charges.

Laticia Parrigin, 37, of Albany, was charged with promotion to manufacture methamphetamine.

Nicholas Phillips, 24, of Albany, was charged with promotion to manufacture methamphetamine.

Shawn Conner, 35, of Albany was charged with Possession of schedule VI (marijuana), possession of schedule II (methamphetamine), possession of schedule IV (clonazepam), possession of drug paraphernalia, promotion to manufacture methamphetamine.

Deputy Johnson was assisted by Chief Steve Wilber, Deputy Brandon Koger and Sgt. Elbert Conner.
