2012-13 Shayna Perry Cheerleading Scholarship awarded to Geesling

2012-13 Shayna Perry Cheerleading Scholarship awarded to GeeslingThe 2012-13 Shayna Dee Perry Cheerleading Scholarship was presented to Eden Geesling in between PCHS games last Saturday night.
This award is given away each year in memory of Shayna "Bug" for the purpose of helping enable the recipient to purchase anything required for cheering during the season. Each year in October the cheerleading coach has applications for Shayna's Award and any child that wants to fill out the application will be considered. The award is given based on not only need, but also desire. Each child is asked to write an essay on why they want and need the award. A panel of at least four people decides who the recipient will be.
Eden is the daughter of Roy Joe and Shelley Geesling. A special thank you to the CanAm Crazies for their donation this year. Donations can be made at Peoples Bank & Trust.
Thank you to everyone that has made this award possible.
