Pickett Grand Jury returns 144 indictments

Pickett Grand Jury returns 144 indictments The Pickett County Grand Jury met on January 7th and returned 139 drug and five burglary indictments.
On Tuesday, January 22nd, Pickett County Sheriff's Department served the following with true bills:
•Rita Green-delivery of oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance in a Drug-Free School Zone.
•Bobby Crabtree-two counts of delivery of Aplrazolone, a schedule IV controlled substance, two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, a schedule II controlled substance.
•Cletis Boles, three counts of delivery of Dihydrocodeinone.
•Kevin Gilliam-three counts of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance, delivery of Dihydrocodeinone, a schedule III controlled substance.
•Joseph Cope-Delivery of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance in a Drug-Free Zone, delivery of Dihydrocodeinone, a schedule III controlled substance in a Drug-Free Zone.
•Jamie Dowdle-delivery of Dihydrocodeinone, a schedule III controlled substance.
•Angela Stinson-delivery of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance in a Drug-Free School Zone, delivery of Dihydrocodeinone, a schedule III controlled substance in a Drug-Free School Zone.
•Rodney Manis-delivery of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance in a Drug-Free School Zone, delivery of Dihydrocodeinone, a schedule III controlled substance in a Drug-Free School Zone.
Pickett County Sheriff Dana Dowdy said that there would be more arrests as the true bills are served.

Pickett County Sheriff Dana E. Dowdy and deputies escort three individuals after they were arrested following Pickett County Grand Jury indictments earlier this month.
