Traffic stop leads to multiple charges

Traffic stop leads  to multiple chargesThe Pickett County Sheriff's Department made a routine traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle Monday, February 2nd. Sheriff Dana Dowdy and Deputy Malcolm Johnson arrested five individuals for Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that passenger Joseph Estle, 19, from Monticello, Ky., had an outstanding arrest warrant issued in Pickett County and failure to appear and is charged with Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

Rachel Young, 27, from Monticello, Ky, was charged with Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine and had an outstanding arrest warrant issued in Kentucky for Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Christopher Loveless, 34, Phillip Rahm, 43 and Sandra Rahm, 44, all from Monticello, Ky., were charged with Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine. Each of the individuals have a bond of $150,000.

The Pickett County Sheriff's Office will continue to fight illegal drugs in this county and if you have any information on illegal drug activity please notify them at 931-864-3210.
