Three arrested on drug charges

Three arrested on drug charges
On February 14th, Pickett County Deputy James Hammock and Sgt. Elbert Conner made a routine traffic stop on Highway 111.

During that stop it was discovered the driver, Shawn Conner, 35, of Albany, had an outstanding warrant from Pickett County General Sessions Court.

There were additional charges resulting from the traffic stop and Conner was charged with Drug Paraphernalia and Initiation to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

During a traffic stop on February 18, two were arrested from Burkesville, Ky. for drug charges.

James Walker, 19, was arrested for Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Aaron Lee, 18, was also charged with Promotion to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sheriff Dana E. Dowdy, Chief Deputy Steve Wilber and Deputy Malcolm Johnson conducted the investigation.
