Two arrested on meth charges
Drug investigations concerning manufacturing methamphetamine lead to multiple arrests.
The Pickett County Sheriff's Department have been focusing on individuals that are "smurfing" which means buying pseudo ephedrine pills for another who is manufacturing methamphetamine.
On February 11, Jason Huddleston, 32, of Byrdstown, was arrested for Possession of Drug Para- phernalia, Attempt to Manufacture Methamphetamine, and Initiation to Manufacture Methamphetamine.
On February 21, Bobby Gayle Pryor, 52, of Byrdstown, was arrested for Attempt to Manufacture Methamphetamine.
During the investigations, the sheriff's department have utilized information from other agencies to help seizures of meth labs.
Sheriff Dana Dowdy, Chief Deputy Steve Wilber, Sgt. Elbert Conner, Deputies Malcolm Johnson and Brandon Koger conducted the investigations.
