Student Health Fair held at High School

Student Health Fair held at High SchoolThe staff at PCHS and Coordinated School Health would like to say thank you to the community for their support by participating in the Student Health Fair on March 8.
Students participated in health screenings, physical activities, listened to speakers, collected lots of information and freebies and won lots of gift cards and prizes. Coordinated School Health provided t-shirts for all students and staff. Livingston Regional Hospital provided snacks. The school staff, National Guard and student health council provided physical activities for the students.
The following had booths and/or provided prizes for the students:
Curves, VEC, Keislings Insurance, UT Extension, Byrdstown Medical Center, Quality Home Health, Pickett County Health Department, Family Resource Center, Livingston Regional Hospital, Pickett County Election Office, Regions Bank, Peoples Bank, Union Bank, Relay for Life, Upchurch Vision Center, Amedisys, Subway, Upper Cumberland Center for Women, Health Connect America, Farm Bureau Insurance, United Health Care, Delta Dental, Sunset Marina, Epilepsy Foundation, Volunteer Behavioral Health, Tennessee Army National Guard, and Dale Hollow Shell.
Speakers included: Craig Norris, Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency; Gary McKenzie, Deputy District Attorney General; and Kelly Tripp, Oak Point Director, Livingston Regional Hospital.
