Board of Education provides office space to Sheriff’s Department

Board of Education provides office space to Sheriff’s DepartmentThe Pickett County Board of Education is partnering with the Pickett County Sheriff's Department to provide the sheriff and his officers an office space to be located in the Board of Education building.
Not only does it benefit the deputies with an extra place for paper work, but it will provide 24/7 security on school property throughout the day and night hours, including weekends.
"I feel this to be a positive toward our school system. Having deputies on-site will help detour unlawful activity on the school properties during and after school hours." stated Diane Elder, Pickett County Director of Schools.
