National Day of Prayer observed

National Day of Prayer observedNational Day of Prayer was recognized May 2nd. Several ceremonies were held in Pickett County that day.
Pictured above are Pickett County students gathering at the Pickett County High School flagpole.
The program consisted of citizens praying for our schools, local, state and national officials, men and women in uniform and our nation to unite with God’s purpose.
