Mock DUI held at PCHS

Mock DUI held at PCHSLast Friday at Pickett County High School, a Mock DUI incident was performed.
Each year usually the day before Prom, the Sheriff’s Department, PCHS Drama Classes and Coordinated School Health join together to present the mock DUI for students to remind them of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
In this scene, Cassidy Pickens portrays the student killed after the mock drunk driving incident.
More pictures can be found in the special Graduation section included in week’s issue along with Prom pictures, graduating seniors, congratulatory ads, and pictures from senior cookout.
