Anchor Down opening this weekPictured is Jessica Jo Brown, new business owner of Anchor Down Bar & Grill located off of Hwy. 111 at 989 Wolf River Rd. Byrdstown. Doors open Wednesday, June 19th at 4:00 p.m. Jo's menu will consist of variety of hand-cut ribeyes and filet mignon, grilled tilapia, catfish and jumbo shrimp, seafood, stuffed mushrooms, Front Porch BBQ chicken dinners and much more. Come by and try one of the many appetizers for starters like the fried banana pepper slices. There is also a list of sandwiches off the grill to choose from, like the House Anchor Down Burger topped with fried pickles, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce.
Kids 8 and under eat FREE and kids meals are under $5. Anchor Down will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-11:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00-Midnight. Come down and enjoy a great meal in a great atmosphere with four flat screens to watch the games, races, etc. No time to "Anchor Down and Tie One On" then to-go orders can be called in at 931-864-4414.
