Obey River Campgrounds now closed

Obey River Campgrounds now closedIn a recent press release by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District, due to the government shutdown, all of its campgrounds and day-use parks are closed.
Those who have reservations at Obey River Campgrounds can receive refunds by calling 1-888-448-1474.
Due to the high call volume, the wait time could be long.
It is not clear how long the shutdown period will be, but other Pickett County servicing agencies that are in danger are the WIC program, Veteran Services Affairs, the USDA Farm Service Agency and Rural Development.
