The American Red Cross recognized several Tennessee youth last week for their roles in coordinating blood donations.
Samantha Harden was honored with the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award for her role as blood drive coordinator for Pickett County. During her years as coordinator, she collected 108 pints of lifesaving blood and reached 100% goals during each blood drive. Harden is currently attending Volunteer State College in Livingston studying to become a speech language pathologist.
