Pickett County FFA students attend National Convention

Pickett County FFA students  attend National ConventionSome students from the Pickett Co. FFA took a trip on Oct. 30-31 to Louisville, KY to the National FFA Convention. They joined 55,000 other FFA members from all 50 states.
While at the convention they listened to Rick Pitino who was the key note speaker, toured the Expo Center which held a career fair full of vendors, and took a tour of Louisville Slugger bat company.
FFA students included Colton Dishman, K.T. Perry, Jerry Gale Mitchell, T.J. Copeland, Gabe Moon, Ethan Phillips, Matt Reeder, Neil Storie, Sydne Denny, and Kayla Garrett. Also pictured is FFA Advisor and Ag Teacher Nathan Groce.
