Home destroyed in fire

Home destroyed in fireA home was completely destroyed during an early morning fire Friday, January 10th. A 911 call came in at 1:34 a.m. regarding a house fire at 6635 Greenbriar Road. The Pickett County Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene at 1:52 where the home was completely engulfed. Volunteer Fire Department members worked to extinguish the fire for several hours.
According to the report, the owners of the residence were not at home at the time of the fire.
